Spiral Wing Pulleys

These pulleys are formed by two flat bars helically wound towards one another and welded to all wings, with intervals between them to allow excess material to be discharged to the side of the conveyor.

The principle of this type of pulley is similar to the standard wing pulley, this design promotes continuous contact between the pulley and the belt during operation, thus eliminating excessive noise and vibration without sacrificing the self-cleaning action.

Specdrum Spiral Wing Pulleys offer the same aggressive construction as our other self-cleaning wing pulleys, but incorporating a ‘screw conveyor’ design this provides for the ultimate cleaning action.
