Increasingly the Agricultural Industry are utilising Belt Conveyors to move all types of Vegetables – from when they are harvested – all the way through their processing and packaging phase until they reach the shops.
Each of these Belt Conveyors, which are custom designed to suit the specific Vegetable they are moving – will have Drive and Tail Drums built into them to complete a specific role.
Often, the Drums are designed to be light in weight and operate at high speeds – High capacity throughput is key to profitability for Farmers and Vegetable/Grain wholesalers.
In other cases, depending on the application – the Drive and Tail Drums are designed to much heavier duty – as the load being carried is heavier and possibly a higher gradient of the belt on the processing line.
